In this first episode of “TUGUEGARAO NORTH STAKE SGMB SUCCESS STORY,” we take a closer look at the story behind one of Linao’s newest popular snack house: Snack Attack Takoyaki. Owned by Adrian and Maria Christina Sabajon ,this sought-after food house is famous for its delicious Japanese octopus balls, known as Takoyaki. 

But how did this couple go from being passionate foodies to successful business owners? And what makes their takoyaki stand out from the rest? These are the questions we’ll be answering in this article, as well as providing an inside look at the different types of takoyaki that are available at Snack Attack Takoyaki

When the pandemic hit, a lot of sectors were badly affected. The food industry was not spared and entrepreneurs had to revisit their plans and business models. Stories of hope were hard to come by, but some found the courage to start during this difficult period in our lives. This includes a couple of young entrepreneurs who share a passion for bringing Japanese food closer to homes. 

A couple from Linao, Tuguegarao City—Starting a business during the pandemic is an immense gamble. But for the couple Adrian and Maria Cristina Sabajon, taking the risk was worth it. With hard work, the couple was able to sustain their business up until now.

 As Mr. Adrian Sabajon had experience working in restaurants, he ventured on experimenting with different recipes until they were able to find the perfect ingredients for their Takoyaki.  They were able to create the most delicious and cheesy ham and cheese, crab and cheese, and squid and cheese Takoyaki.  From these tasty snacks they were able to provide for their family and hope to build their dream house in the years to come.The couple said that behind their success is first faith in God , second is applying what they learn in the rules of thumb like start small, think big, and Do not eat your inventory.

He shared a few words of encouragement for everyone who would like to start their businesses:“This is the perfect time to start [your business]. At your age, you’ll experience failures [as] things may not go our way. We still have time to start again, learn from every setback, and enjoy trying new things. Your business ideas are just an idea until you make them happen. Take courage to start now!”

 The couple also shared that “Our biggest mission when we set up SNACK ATTACK TAKOYAKI was to make other people say that what they are paying us is worth it as they feel great as they eat clean, healthy and delicious Takoyaki snacks. And that is still our biggest mission today.
